Bridgeport Bank is an existing turn-of-the-century bank building, complete with all the materials and exquisite details of the time period. The intent of the project is to maintain the existing limestone facade, and ionic columns, and full height palladian windows. The inside renovation will include restoration of the existing marble floors and walls, stainless steel and bronze vault door, brass bank check counters, brass gates and railings. Once completed the building will be the center piece of Bridgeport, heading up the re-development of this section of town.
